Boambee Palms is the perfect spot – you will enjoy peace and privacy of the hinterland setting with it’s elevated aspect and the hills surrounding covered with their Banana plantations. There are four acres of lush tropical gardens and bush, which abound with beautiful birds over 250 species spotted. A flood lit mod-grass tennis court and an 18m salt-water pool and lots of shady area’s to sit and relax with a book. Yet only minutes form the beach and Sawtell’s now famous Main Street, with it’s giant fig trees and array of cafe’s restaurants and Gallery’s. Bonville international Golf resort Australia’s most beautiful course is just down the road and Dorrigo with its world heritage site rain forest are about ½ hour drive away. Boambee is a 6 hour drive from Sydney, or just under 5 hours from Brisbane. Coffs Harbour train station with it’s twice daily services from Brisbane and Sydney, can be interesting for those wanting to see the NSW countryside on their way to Boambee.   Coffs Harbour Airport is under 15 minutes away from the Boambee Palms B&B. The airport is serviced by Qantas, TigerAir and Virgin, with daily flights to/from Melbourne and Sydney. For those coming from other parts of Australia, a private jet or other aircraft charter arranged through Adagold is recommended.
