Bed and Breakfast Mornington Peninsula

If you like wine the Mornington Peninsula is one of the best places to visit. They have many accommodation getaways that include Mornington Peninsula bed and breakfasts and you will find cottages and other nice places to stay in the local country area.

The Peninsula used to be just a place where people would go on holiday to experience the ocean. Today it is still used for that but you can also find a variety of vineyards, outside restaurants and country retreats to suit any taste.

If you really want to get away for a retreat far from everyone and everything, you might want to try the Nature Lovers Nook. It is a unique bed & breakfast in Mornington that is on a secluded property surrounded by a 147 acre nature reserve. If you like flora and fauna you will see a lot of it here both day and night. You see birds and kangaroos too. You get a full breakfast hamper of food that you can cook when you feel like it.

For beautiful views of the bay and ocean you will want to climb the hill to the Hilltonia Homestead. You will find both traditional b&b fare and individual cottages for your liking. Here, you get a hamper of food that you can cook yourself.

There are a zillion things to do in the Mornington Peninsula and there is fun for the entire family. One of the first places you must stop is the Arthur’s Seat Maze which includes the Enchanted Maze Garden. This is something that you and the kids will enjoy. It is an area full of different types of mazes and fantasy gardens where you can play all day. The kids will especially love the lollipop shop.

Going to French Island is a chance to commune with nature and explore the bush country. This is a tour that you can take and you might even see a koala or two. Here you will experience the semi-wilderness area and see magnificent birds and other wildlife. This is home to a largest population of koalas in Australia.

Another great place to go if you like fresh fruit is the Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm. Here you get to pick your own strawberries, enjoy chocolate fondue berries and other great produce and gourmet food items.
