Come for a weekend or a whole week and appreciate the wonder of fresh country air, abundant wildlife and local produce. The retreat sits on over 200 acres of beautiful Australian bush land at the foot of the majestic Watagan Mountains. It is the closest gateway to the Hunter Valley, at only 90 minutes drive from Sydney, 40 minutes from Newcastle and 20 minutes to the vineyards.

There are accommodation options to suit everyone from romantic couples, groups of friends, family holidays and corporate functions.

All our rooms have en-suite or bathroom, digital TV, complimentary tea and coffee, access to our restaurant and bush views.

Our larger apartments, villas and homesteads can sleep up to 14 people and include an open plan living space, kitchen or kitchenette and outdoor entertaining area. Our homesteads even have indoor fire places and outdoor BBQs.

If you are planning a wedding, corporate function, seminar, retreat, workshop, Christmas party, sporting competition or celebration we have some of the best conference and events facilities in the Hunter Valley. With a dedicated team of events specialists we can build you dream event, from an intimate gathering to a festival of up to 250 people. Your event package includes venue (be it our auditorium, restaurant, marquee on the front lawn or the entire property), gourmet catering provided by our in-house chef, group accommodation rates and a whole host of other extras to make this an occasion to remember.

The Hunter Valley region offers a vast array of activities and local attractions. Some of our favourites include the monthly Cherry Blossom Artesian Markets, locally produced olive oil, horse riding and of course over 100 winery and dining destinations within a 20 minute drive.
