When staying at the Bamboo Cottage, it only takes a few moments to appreciate how beautifully positioned you are… quietly down the end of a “no through road”, so close to the buzz of Byron and within a stroll of Byron Bay’s stunning beaches. You can hear both the surf and the birds from the deck and the feeling is that you are hidden in a secluded tropical Balinese garden.

Built in the 1930’s, this popular 3 1/2 star whalers cottage has a sense of the past and the present. Tastefully renovated and environmentally friendly, a lot of thought has gone into the décor… nothing too modern but instead a comfortable touch of Australian and Pacific Islands to give you a sense of happiness and casual comfort. Guests also feel the intended relaxed ease in the tropical gardens with a lazy double hammock, garden seats, decks, walkways, Balinese states and gentle fountains.

The guests open-plan living room has Led TV, DVD, music and a library and there are spots to eat inside and outside on the decks. Help yourself to coffee, tea and filtered water. Breakfast is appreciated as an optional extra as Byron is so close or if they choose, guests can relax at the cottage, helping themselves to a light breakfast. The honesty system requires just $5 per person to be put into the cow!!

The free WI-FI, laundry, parking, complete the things we think are needed for a laid-back holiday in beautiful Byron.
